This booklet has been designed to complement the use of The Gifted Kid Book Series in the classroom. The information in this booklet supports the identification of giftedness and teaching strategies to benefit all children, but particularly gifted and talented. Although not always easily identified, 10% of a school’s population are gifted and talented in some way. To assist with curriculum mapping and pedagogical planning, this booklet looks at the current educational climate and curriculum requirements before detailing the relevance of The Gifted Kid Book Series.
